Police raids on a house in Heyuan city in southern Guangdong Province on 29 July uncovered 231 fossilised dinosaur eggs hidden under a staircase and a dinosaur skeleton. The skeleton apparently  belonged to Psittacosaurus class of dinosaurs some 65 million years old. The eggs had originally been uncovered at a construction site, where the local villagers stole them before officials arrived at the scene.
