Greek archaeologists have unearthed a large Mycenaean cemetery at the site of Loggas in Macedonia.
The cemetery contains 31 undisturbed burials containing jewelry and ceramic vases. The cemetery appears to have been connected to the nearby community of Elati which spanned across 45 ha. only 2 of which have thus far been excavated, the cemetery occupies about 5 ha. and excavations have only been carried out on less than half a hectare suggesting that there are many more interesting finds yet to come from the region.
