Henry Ford II introduces his company’s newest car, the Falcon dubbed “the small car with the big car feel”.
The 90-horsepower, 30 miles-per-gallon Falcon, was an overnight success. When it went on sale in October, within days dealers snapped up every one of the 97,000 cars in the first production run.
The Falcon was also built in Argentina (1962 – 1991) and Australia (1960 to present)
